Hold Your Booking

What is a hold booking?

Holding bookings assist our passengers in reserving tickets prior to making the payment by calling at our call centre.
Passengers may call our call centre to hold a reservation. The reservation can be held for a maximum of 6 hours from the start of the hold. The hold is possible for Travel after 72 hours.


What is the maximum number of seats I can book online?

A maximum of 9 seats can be booked at one time. If you need to book for more than 9 travelers, fill up the Group Booking Form and we will be glad to assist you.

Group Bookings

We want to make a reservation but we do not have the names ready. How can I book?

Fill up the Group Booking form for more than 5 passengers. We will give you a call to discuss your requirements and reserve your tickets. The names can be shared up 10 days before the flight.

What is the minimum number of passengers required to make a Group Booking?

A group booking can be made for any domestic airlines in India. The minimum number of passengers is 5.

What are the cancellation/rescheduling charges in case of a Group Booking?

All bookings made under Group Bookings are strictly non-refundable/non-reschedulable. In case there is a full refund by the airline due to flight non-operational, we will process a full refund for the same, subject to Ojigy refund charges of Rs. 100 per person. 

Non-Refundable Fares

What are the non-refundable Fares?

Non-Refundable Fares are special fares by the airline which can neither be cancelled nor rescheduled. 

What are the fare rules for non-refundable Fares?

A booking confirmation will take a minimum of 30 Minutes.
Seats are subject to availability, In case of nonavailability, Ojigy will refund the amount.
The PNR will be live on Airline's website 12 hours prior to departure.
No Changes will be possible to the ticket post-confirmation.


What are the cancellation charges imposed by Ojigy?

We impose a fixed amount of Rs. 300 per person as cancellation charges.

The flight I booked was cancelled by the airline. How can I claim the refund?

If the flight you booked got cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund, in most cases. We request you to cancel your booking online and the refund will be processed once we confirm the receipt of the same from the airline. A Refund Charge of Rs. 100 will be imposed at the time of refund.

Which all documents are accepted for Domestic Flights?

  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Driving License
  • Election Photo Identification Card
  • PAN card issued by the Income Tax department
  • Photo identity card issued by the employer, being government and reputed private sector organisations
  • Children travelling on IndiGo should carry their school identification cards or any other photo identification proof
  • Valid birth certificates of infants need to be produced at the time of check-in
  • For Foreign Nationals who travel on domestic flights, the only valid photo ID for travel is Passport.

There shall not be any requirement of identity proof in respect of Infant/Minor accompanied by their parents/guardian who is a bonafide passenger having a valid identity proof as listed above. However, an unaccompanied minor shall be required to produce a valid identity proof as listed above.

Can a refund be obtained on an Itinerary cancellation?

Yes, a refund on an itinerary cancellation can be obtained. You can cancel the ticket online and get refunded after the applicable cancellation charges are incurred. Changes or cancellations to a booking must be made at least
• 4 hrs prior for domestic flights
• 6 hrs prior for international flights.

There will be an imposition of No Show charges if the ticket is not canceled/ rescheduled within the stipulated time which means the ticket amount will be forfeited and only applicable taxes will be refunded. 

How can a refund for a cancelled ticket be obtained?

Refund for cancelled tickets will be processed after the deduction of appropriate cancellation fees, which may take up to 30 working days. 


What is the pre-paid excess baggage slab and how can I book it?

Passengers can book pre-paid excess baggage up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure of their flight by calling us at our call centre.


What is the age group of an infant?

For safety reasons, children above the age of seven 7 days and under the age of two 2 years, as on the date of travel, can travel as Infants. Age proof needs to be provided at the time of check-in.

Do I need to book a separate seat for an Infant?

No extra seats may be booked for Infants. Infants cannot travel in their own seat and must be seated in an adult's lap.
